Loudoun Farm Tours/Events

Visitors to Loudoun County can enjoy free, self‑guided driving tours to participating farms and wineries during the Spring and Fall Farm Tours.  The Spring Farm Tour, which serves as an introduction to Loudoun's growing season, is held the third weekend in May.  The Farm Color Tour showcases the colors, people and products of the Loudoun Valleys and is held the third weekend in October. The tours draw over 9,000 visitors to Loudoun County and offer educational programs as well as an overview of farm life in Loudoun.

Loudoun County’s wineries have emerged as the leading Virginia producers of vinifera and New World grape wines. Soil conditions, temperate climate, access to technical experts and mentors, and skilled winemakers all contribute to Loudoun’s growing reputation as "DCs Wine Country."
