24,000 head of cattle, 5395 acres of corn and 2847 acres of soybean production Largest equine population in Virginia, approx. 5,500 horses, valued at $208,855,000 4th largest hay producer in the state, with 64,300 acres of production Approximately 3000 head of sheep and lambs 116 farms with a total of 1457 goats 31 alpaca farms (largest number in VA) with 350 alpacas (2nd largest population in VA) 29 llama farms (2nd largest number in VA) with 376 llamas (the largest number in VA)
