An 800-acre certified organic and humane farm dating back to 1821. Ayrshire Farm has been lovingly restored to a magnificent working farm committed to traditional farming values.  See Shire draft horses, Scottish Highland cattle, Ancient White Park cattle, Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs and free-range chickens and turkeys. The Ayrshire Farm carriage collection will be on display.  Fun activities for the whole family will include face painting, sack races, hay rides, apple tasting, food and beverages, apple games and a petting zoo.  Ayrshire products are available at the Home Farm Store in Middleburg  and  served at Hunter’s Head Tavern in Upperville.

Directions:
From Middleburg follow Rt. 50 W through Upperville. Turn right on Rt. 619 (Trappe Road). Go 1.4 miles just past entrance of Ayrshire Farm. On right will be parking in front pasture and hay wagons will transport you onto the farm.
