Donkey Meadows is a small farm dedicated to breeding and raising quality Mammoth donkeys for the purpose of trail riding, showing, cart or wagon pulling or just about anything you may want to do with them. You will be able to pet and socialize with the farm donkeys, including the newborns. Learn about the history of the Mammoth Donkey, as well as the care and raising of the donkey. Donkey rides will be offered from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm for a fee of $5 (since the donkeys are quite large, riding is not limited to just children!) So, don’t be shy, come by and fall in love with this gentle giant!
Directions: Heading west, take Rt. 7 bypass to Purcellville/Lovettsville exit. At the bottom of the ramp, take a left towards Purcellville, turn right onto Main Street. Go through 3 stop lights, at the third stoplight turn left onto Maple Road. Follow Maple which turns into Lincoln Road. Follow through the Village of Lincoln, bear right at the stone house, cross over two one-lane bridges and proceed up a slight hill, turn left onto Hughesville Road. We are the 4th house on the right.
